Psalm 31:10 starts off by asking a question, “who can find a capable wife?” Well let me say this, I have! Kendra and I married May 21st 1994, and I have never looked back or second guessed the decision to marry her. I’m not saying that everything has been smooth sailing over the years, but I am saying that as God is the center of our relationship we have fought through the valleys and celebrated the mountain tops. Kendra is more precious to me than any amount of gold, silver or fine linen. She is a women of faith, a respecter of her husband(that’s me :o)), a nurturer and teacher of her children. She serves God, family, friends, and strangers. Kendra strives to be the woman that God wants her to be in and out of the home.
I know that God has given me a gift in Kendra and I couldn’t do the things that I do if I didn’t have a capable (virtuous)wife. She sacrifices so much so that I can learn, prepare, lead, and minister. She is definitely a Proverbs 31 woman (Proverbs 31:10-31)!
Kendra, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you and commend you for being a capable wife. I love you:o)
